Sarah Coria

Hey there! I'm Sarah, and I'm passionate about helping people…

ME AS A PERSON..
I am a cisgender, bisexual millennial woman, living in a bigger body, and have struggled engaging with the world with, what I believe can be attributed to, undiagnosed neurodivergency.

I have lived with chronic illness including asthma, edema and IIH, and I have experienced fertility issues.

I am also a proud aunty and I am the owner of the cutest bunny, The Kind Counsellor CEO, Dalia.

MY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS..
I’m a qualified counsellor with a Master of Counselling, and my path into this work has been shaped by years of supporting people.

Before private practice, I spent many years as a School Chaplain, walking alongside young people and their families through some of their most challenging moments.

I also volunteered with Lifeline, where I learned how to hold space for people in crisis with compassion and deep respect.

Over the years, I’ve supported a wide range of people including domestic violence survivors, LGBTQIA+ people, children, immigrants, and others in navigating the complexities of their mental health.

These experiences have taught me how to meet people with kindness, honour their stories, and create a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported.

WORKING WITH ME..
When we work together, you can expect sessions to feel calm, full of kindness, and very human. There’s no pressure to show up a certain way — you can come tired, overwhelmed, unsure, or completely burnt out, and we’ll take things at your pace.

Our time together is a mix of talking things through, gently exploring what’s been weighing on you, and noticing the patterns or stories that might be shaping how you feel.

I’ll bring curiosity, warmth, and honesty into the space, and I’ll always meet you with respect for your lived experience and your identity.

Sessions are relaxed and conversational, with room for humour, pauses, and real emotion.

Because everything happens online, you can settle in from wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that be a couch, a quiet corner or your car, and we’ll build a space that feels supportive as you move toward a life that feels more like your own.
